Penny Jo Kerns, 55 years of Latham, died Tuesday April 9, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 15, 1957, the daughter of the late Wilford and Elizabeth Jo Cook Williamson. She is also preceded by her brother, Clifford Williamson.
She is survived by her husband Johnny Mark Kerns, whom she married on March 2, 1991, she is also survived by her son Tommy Jo Newsome of Peebles, one daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Jesse Swepston of Peebles, one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Kathy Williamson of Waverly, one granddaughter Elissa Jo Dawn Newsome, and three step grandchildren, Dakota Raylee, Desirae Nicole and Brayden Lee Swepston.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Saturday April 13, 2013 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring. Greg Roberts will officiate with burial to follow at Barr Cemetery in Latham.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
