Ada F. Young, 99 years of Seaman, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home in West Union.

She was born in Adams County, Ohio on December 18, 1904 the daughter of the late William H. and Rebecca Alice Smith Elmore.

She was the oldest living member of the Seaman United Methodist Church, where she joined on August 22, 1920. She was a 1921 graduate of Seaman High School.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bunnard F. Young, who passed away in 1970, two sons, Paul M. and Robert D. Young, one brother, Elbert Elmore, and one sister, Angie Secrist.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Joann Young of West Union, daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Donald Myers of Fruitland Park, Florida, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Steve Darby and Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
