Albert Buchanan

Albert Buchanan, Jr., 85 years of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at his residence.

He was born in Newtown, Ohio on September 29, 1922 the son of the late Albert and Marion M. Lyke Buchanan, Sr.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in World War II and an Operating Engineer belonging to Union Local #18.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Sarah Buchanan, who passed away in 1968, second wife Bertha Buchanan, who passed away in 2005, four brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kenny and Nancy Buchanan of Clinton, Tennessee, daughters and sons-in-law Peggy and Gary Morrison of Livingston, Tennessee and Penny and Donald Red Morrison of New Richmond, Ohio, five step children, sister Claudia Merkle of Cincinnati, Ohio, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.

Graveside services will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. Saturday with Steve Bankhead officiating, military honors will be preformed by the Clermont County Honor Guard.
