Rev. Albert L. Cox, 78 years of Greenfield, passed away on Friday September 15, 2017 at the SOIN Medical Center.

He was born in Piketon on July 28, 1939, the son of the late Claude and Judy (Skaggs) Cox. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by his son, John Thomas Cox, great grandson, Christian Hadler, two sisters, Louise Shoemaker and Delcie Knisley, five brothers, Willard, Noah, David, Philip and Richard Cox and daughter-in-law, Patti Cox.

Rev. Albert served in the United States Navy.

Rev. Albert is survived by his wife, Nancy (Nichols) Cox, two sons, Rick (Eunice) Cox of Pittsburg and Leroy Cox of Cincinnati, two daughters, Cindi (Ernie) Johnson of Chillicothe and Barbara Baker of Miamisburg, daughter-in-law, Liz Cox of Chillicothe, brother, Eric (Connie) Cox of Florida, sister, Rose Everhart of Greenfield, sister-in-law, Alta Cox of Greenfield, nine grandchildren: Kenny, Scott and Rick Hadler, Joshua and Jeremy Johnson, Carol Hines, Richard, Timothy and Trevor Cox, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Thursday September 21, 2017 at the Pleasant Valley Plug Run Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1586 Mingo Road Chillicothe, OH. Burial will follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services on Thursday at the church.
