Alice Jane Howard, 84 years of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born at Portsmouth, OH on October 5, 1929 the daughter of the late Edward & Mary Ellen Groves Throckmorton. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Beecher Howard in 1972, daughter Janet Powell, son-in-law Jim Fridley, two brothers Leslie & Arthur Throckmorton, three sisters, Dorothy Throckmorton, Faye Baker & Maye Wyatt.
She was a member of the Hillsboro House of Worship.
She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Fridley, Linda Ralph Griffith of Hillsboro, Diane Gary Barnett of Leesburg, five grandchildren, Beecher Barnett, Alice Kidder, Brandon Barnett, Amy Fridley, Linsey Griffith KenDoughman,
Eight great grandchildren, Finnegan Doughman, Teghan Kidder, Wesley Kidder, Ryleigh Kidder, Bayley Fridley, Mylea Fridley, Ayden Barnett & Tesla Doughman.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Hillsboro House of Worship, 8395 U.S. Rt 62 North with Pastor Randy Hamilton officiating.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Hillsboro House of Worship.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro House of Worship.
