Alice H. Mason, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Montgomery County on March 3, 1921 the daughter of the late Clifford and Marie Dunkelman Hadley.
She was the 1st Woman Bus Driver for the Fairfield School System for 22 years, a loving and devoted wife and mother who loved to listen to Larry play music.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry D. Mason on November 2, 2004, son-in-law, David Roads and five brothers.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Richard Hiatt of New Vienna, Tammy Mason and fiancé Richard Bailey of Hillsboro, Johanna and Richard VanOss of Beaver Creek, Kay and Dave Cherpeski of Fairborn, one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Shirley Isbel of Georgia, one step daughter and husband, Carol and Lee Roy Sandy of Waynesville,
Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Leesburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Max Jackson officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at the Leesburg United Methodist Church.
