Alice "Faye" Tipton, 70 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday May 15, 2014 at the Bethesda North Hospital.
She was born in Big Stone Gap, VA on July 27, 1943, the daughter of the late Curtis and Stella Barker Porter.
Faye is survived by her husband Edwin E. Tipton Sr. of Hillsboro, step-son Edwin E. Tipton Jr. step-daughters Gail Ditello, Kimberly Tipton, Tamera Whisler, Jan Seimer and Cynthia Sims, brothers John, Jack and Jim Porter, sisters, Virginia Able and Betty Sue Underdown, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday May 19, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday May 18, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
