Alice King Ward, 75 years of Seaman, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Piketon, Ohio on February 12, 1935 the daughter of the late Charles and Retha McCoy King.
Alice attended the Union Hill Community Church and the Winchester Church of Christ.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ward, who passed away on April 7, 2006 and one sister; Ina King.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Brenda Ward of Seaman, son Larry Ward of Chicago, daughter and son-in-law; Kathy and Fred Davis of Cincinnati, sister; Rosemary Beekman of Piketon, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
