Allen Eugene ?Gene? Moore, 64 years of Wilmington, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 24, 1938 the son of Russell and Virginia Blair Moore.
He retired in 1999 from the Randall Company in Wilmington after forty-three years. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of God.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeremy Reveal.
He was united in marriage on January 6, 1956 to Ruth Newman Moore, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, Russell and Virginia Moore of Hillsboro, two sons and daughter-in-law, Todd and Paige Moore of New Vienna, Jeff Moore of Las Vegas, Nevada, four daughters and sons-in-law, Leanne and Bob Comberger of Wilmington, Pam Ross of Leesburg, Brenda and Tony Ross of Frankfort, Ohio, Jenny Moore of Wilmington, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Julie Moore of Florida, Richard and Alice Moore of Texas, Roger and Judy Moore of Leesburg, and eleven grandchildren, Brandon Hill, Scott Ross, Joshua Reveal, Shauna Reveal, Anthony Ross, Adam Moore, Caci Moore, Barett Comberger, Cameron Comberger, Justin and Zachary Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Church of God with Rev. John Maggard officiating. Burial will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery in Wilmington.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Church of God.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
