Alma Carroll, 86 years of Crystal Beach, Florida, formerly of Seaman, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Freedom Inn in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
She was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky on January 30, 1924 the daughter of the late James Miles and Melinda Carr Hill.
Alma was a member of the Seaman United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband; Edward Shearer, second husband; Denver Carroll, and one daughter; June Downs.
She is survived by one son; Gregory Carroll of Seaman, three daughters; Janice Colman of Lakeside, California, Judy Neff of Crystal Beach, Florida, and Jennifer Carroll of Seaman, two brothers; James Hill of Seaman and Kenneth Hill of Ellenton, Florida, one sister; Rose Brooks of Nicholasville, Kentucky, twelve grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman. Burial will follow in Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
