Amanda L. Carter, 34 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday April 28, 2017 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
She was born in Sandusky, OH on November 10, 1982, the daughter of Gary Ferguson of Clyde, OH and Tammy (Ronald) Istvan of Hillsboro.
Amanda was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, Mi Mi and friend to all who loved life. Amanda bravely fought her disease as the wonder woman she has always been.
Besides her parents, Amanda is survived by her husband, Jeremy Carter, whom were married on August 17, 2002, daughter, Marissa Carter, two sons, Zackery Carter and Brady Carter, brother, Tony (Jenna) Ferguson of Columbus, two sisters, Logan (Michael) Bailey of Hillsboro and Aryka (Steven) McCoy of Hillsboro and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 3, 2017 at the Good News Gathering in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday May 2, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Hospice of Hope or to the Foster James Boyd Cancer Center in Wilmington, Ohio.
