Amy Agnes Ward, 78 years of the Louden Community, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in West Union, Ohio on May 31, 1924 the daughter of the late Simon and Clara McCarty Fields.
She was a member of the Louden Methodist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Randy Ward, who passed away on March 15, 1984, and her sister, Mary Alice Goolsby.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Ward, who she married on December 27, 1946, son and daughter-in-law, Ritchie and Pam Ward of Seaman, two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Miller of Peebles, Debbie and Roger Douglas of Peebles, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother, Donald Fields of Peebles, special niece, Vicki Stephens of Blanchester, and nephew, Rick Goolsby of Loveland.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Gary McCammon officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
