Angela Marie "Angie" Monday, 47 years of Latham, passed away suddenly on Sunday August 1, 2021.
She was born in Portsmouth on March 22, 1974, the daughter of Hal and Carol (Mechlin) Salyers of Piketon.
Angie graduated from Piketon High School, received her associates degree in Computer Science from Shawnee State Community College and was employed at Ralph Williamson Community Benefits Insurance Agency in Piketon for the past 28 years. Angie loved riding motorcycles and visiting historical sites.
Besides her parents, Angie is survived by her husband, Brian Monday, whom were married on January 30, 2010, sons, Clayton & Josh Newkirk of Latham, sister, Stacy (Alex) Causey & children, Aaron & Allison; uncle & aunt, Ed & Pam Salyers & children, Caleb Salyers & family, Wyatt Salyers & family; aunt, Debbie Salyers & children, Jason Salyers & family, Kelly Baker & family; aunt & uncle, Cathy & Glen Moore & children, Jason Moore & family, Jennifer Broadwell & family; aunt, Helen Casey & children, Brian Casey & family, Terry Hurlbert & husband; uncle, Herb Mechlin & children, Scott Mechlin & family, Herb Mechlin, III & family, Mark Mechlin& family, Melissa Mechlin-McCreary & family; her fur babies; six dogs and one cat.
Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank & Bessie Salyers; grandmother, Edna Martin; uncles, Wayne Salyers and Doug Martin; aunt, Judy Troup.
Funeral Services will be Thursday at the convenience of the family at the Sinking Spring Community Church, 23 North Main Street, Sinking Spring, OH 45172.
Friends may call from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday August 5, 2021 at the Sinking Spring Community Church.
Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
