Ann Fenner Williams, 62 years of Hillsboro, OH., died Saturday, January 21, 2012.
She was born September 7, 1949 in Hillsboro, OH., the daughter of the late Dr. Walter H. and Velma E. Walker Fenner. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne, Dwayne, Gene and Ralph Fenner; one sister, Donna Ferrell.
Ann was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. Upon graduation on March 1, 1968 went to work for then, Highland County Treasurer Herschel Creed. Upon his retirement, Ann served Highland County as it's Treasurer from June 3, 1980 until her retirement on September 30, 2006. Ann was a member of the Dunn's Chapel Methodist Church, served as secretary/treasurer of the Dunn's Chapel Cemetery Association, member of the Highland County Democratic Party, Highland County Farm Bureau, Highland County Cattlemen's Association, F.O.E. Hillsboro Ladies Auxillary Aerie #1161.
Ann is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Kenny McGuire of Lynchburg, OH.; one granddaughter, Abby McGuire; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary C. and Carl Linn of Greenfield, OH., Doris L. and Tony Younker of Hillsboro, OH.; three sisters-in-law, Aletha Fenner of Hillsboro, OH., Harriett Fenner of Hillsboro, OH., Eleanor Fenner of Hillsboro, OH.; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
John Porter will officiate with burial to follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
