Anna Belle Vance Garman

November 6, 1915 — October 28, 2003

Anna Belle Vance Garman, 87 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born at Elmville on November 6, 1915 the daughter of the late William and Anna Simmons Newkirk.

She was a member of the Harriett Missionary Church and the M.W.I.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Vance and Everett Garman and four brothers.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sandy Vance of Hillsboro, one step son and step daughter-in-law, James and Joyce Garman of Locust Grove, one sister Pearl Wilkin of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Donnie Vance of Hillsboro, Dennie Kelley Vance of Hillsboro, Dusty Amanda Vance of Hillsboro, six great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home with Donald Gorman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 Noon till time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
