Anna L. Lewis

Anna L. Lewis, 93 years of Batavia, died Sunday, July 14, 2002 at the Vista Care Center in Cincinnati.

She was born in Adams County, Ohio on August 1, 1908 the daughter of the late Dyas and Ella E. Kautz Howland.

She was a member of the Hyde Park Methodist Church of Cincinnati and a life member of the Violet Chapter of O.E.S. She was a sales clerk at J.C. Penney and also taught school in New Richmond.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Erdman in 1972, second husband, Ellis Lewis in 1992, and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two nephews, Ken Howland of Pensacola, Florida, Dean Howland of Dayton, two nieces, Cynda Shelton of Batavia, Gayla Fritzhand of Cincinnati, several great nieces and nephews, and several great great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Winchester Cemetery with Rev. John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
