Anna Virginia Moore, 81 years of Highland, OH, went to heaven Wednesday afternoon, July 1, 2009 at Highland District Hospital.
She was born and raised in Monterey, Tenn. and lived most of her life in Dayton OH. She was born on October 4, 1927 the daughter of the late Lora and Martha Ray. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dylan C. Masters.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Everett Lee Moore of Highland OH, two children Patricia A. Jeff Gilliland of Highland, OH., and Chesley M. Saundra Masters of Huber Heights, OH., four brothers Beecher Ray of Dayton, OH., Jimmie Ray of Dayton, OH., Dennis Ray of Beaver Creek, OH., and Bobby Ray of Miamisburg, OH., two sisters Wilma Hoop of Beaver Creek, OH., and Roszella Comstock of Greenwood, IN., four grandchildren, Jessica Craig Cordery of Hillsboro, OH., Levi Parker of Highland, OH., Shane Tabitha Masters of Huber Heights, OH. and Tiffany Brian Rihm of Huber Heights, OH. She also had three great grandchildren with two more on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
She was known by few and loved by all. You will forever be in our hearts. We love you so much!
Services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Reverend Mary Cyrus officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:00 till time of service Sunday at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Arraignment?s under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
