Anna B. Newman, 94 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 26, 1911 the daughter of the late Homer and Hettie Gordley Waldron.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Newman, who passed away in February of 1990, four brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Martin Gillian of Cincinnati, daughters, Stella Clark of Cincinnati, Kati Preston of Tennessee, Mary Herdman of Lynchburg, ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Howard Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
