Anneliese Emilie "Ann" Lechner, 75 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday April 26, 2012 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center at Seaman.
She was born at Frankenbach, Germany on June 26, 1936 the daughter of the late
Wilhelm and Anna Marie Burger Schmidt. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas George Lechner, one sister, Herta Marie Lemons, one brother, Wilhelm Schmidt.
She is survived by her husband Ted H. Lechner of Hillsboro; six sons, Michael Lechner of New Mexico, Robert Wayne Lechner of Arizona, Richard Susan Lechner of Maryland, James Lechner of Blanchester, Brian Michelle Lechner of Peebles, Jeff Carrie Ann Lechner of Loveland; three daughters, Monica Fields of Blanchester, Susan Michaels of Wilmington, Lori Rothwell of Peebles; twenty eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 noon till time of service at 2:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
