Anthony J. "Tony" Younker, 79 years of Hillsboro, OH., passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Tony was born at Sinking Spring, OH. on June 30, 1944, the son of the late Archie Gene and Ruby (White) Younker.
On November 15, 1964, he was united in marriage to Doris L. (Fenner) Younker, who passed away on March 26, 2014. To this union they were blessed with one loving and devoted daughter, Donica (Kevin) Grow of Hillsboro; grandson, Clayton Anthony (Mariah) Collier of Hillsboro; great granddaughter, Elloree Collier; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Tony was a member of the Dunn's Chapel Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Sinking Spring High School and a member of the former Sinking Spring Masonic Lodge (now Highland Lodge #38 F.&A.M). He was a barber in Washingto C.H. for several years and retired from R+L Carriers in Wilmington. He enjoyed gardening and old westerns.
Friends and Family are invited to visitations from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
