Arlene Carroll, 72 years of Seaman, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 at her residence.
She was born in Ricetown, Kentucky on July 4, 1938 the daughter of the late Elbert and Ethel Thoman Allen.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Carroll, who passed away on March 21, 2010.
Arlene attended the Seaman Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son; William Carroll of Cincinnati, five daughters and sons-in-law; Darlene and Steve Sheets of Athens, Ohio, Jean Ann and Mike Hargis of Ross, Ohio, LaVonna and Rob Evans of Cincinnati, Sissy Barton of Elkhart, Indiana, and Crystal Gustin of Anderson Township, Ohio, one sister; Vernice Worley of Jacksonville, Florida, fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Chris Gobin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
