Arlis Judy Ruppel

Arlis J. "Judy" Ruppel, 93 years of Chillicothe, OH., formerly of Toledo and Hillsboro, OH., passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Judy was born December 28, 1928 in Obetz, OH., the daughter of the late Maurice and Fern (Deboard) Solt. Beside her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Loring G. Ruppel, Sr. on July 27, 2009; one son, Ronald Ruppel; one brother, Warren "Bud" Solt.

Judy was a member of the Toledo Eastminster Presbyterian Church and the Marshall United Methodist Church. Judy was a member of the Eastern Star in Toledo and had retired from Amtrak after 20 years of service.

Judy is survived by one son, Loring G. Ruppel, Jr. of Texas; four daughters, Darlene (Tom) Erdman of Findlay, OH., Judy Fedor of Hillsboro, OH., Corinne (Tom) Crawford of Ocala, FL., Linda (Bobby) Gifford of La Mesa, CA.; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; one brother, George (Maxine) Solt of W.VA.; two sisters, Teda Graham of Peebles, OH. and Nona (Howard) Fishbaugh of Walbridge, OH.; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Marshall United Methodist Church.

Pastor's Jamie Darling and Tim Rohrbacher will officiate.

Burial will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. at the Dayton National Cemetery.
