Arta B. Johnson, 81 years of Seaman, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born in Lerose, Kentucky on July 3, 1923 the daughter of the late Ballard and Emma Caudill Barrett.
She was a member of the Countryside Church of Christ and the Seaman Ladies Auxiliary.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Johnson, who passed away on December 10, 2001.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Melvin Humphrey of Seaman, sister, Imogene Perry of Middletown, six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Countryside Church of Christ with Hannum Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Countryside Church of Christ.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
