Arthur Hanshaw, 64 years of Seaman, died Friday, January 9, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital.
He was born at Cattlesburg, Kentucky on December 9, 1939 the son of George W. and Shirley Rae Belle Hanshaw.
He was a Butcher for White Meat Processing.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Clara June Cooper Hanshaw in 1997.
He is survived by his four sons and daughter-in-law, George A. and Karen Hanshaw of Williamsburg, Robert Hanshaw of Seaman, Arthur Hanshaw Jr., of Seaman, Harland H. Hanshaw of Chillicothe, three daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Muncy of Peebles, Rosie Hanshaw of Peebles, Paula and Tim Fulk of South Webster, two step sons, Larue Young of Dayton, Anthony Young of Iowa, one step daughter, Pam Mason of West Union. Seven grandchildren, three brothers, Danny Hanshaw of Ripley, Harold Hanshaw of West Union, Fred Hanshaw of Columbus, three sisters, Martha Minton of Carlisle, Kentucky, Anna Vrablic of Mt Orab, Linda Latham of Hillsboro, special friends, Wayne Douglas, Bob Stubes, Tim and Ruth Hammonds, several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Homer Holstead officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
