Arthur H. Norman Haws

Arthur Norman Haws, 66 years of Dayton, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002.

He was born in Peebles, Ohio on September 13, 1935 the son of the late Harrison and Addie Smith Haws.

He was a retired Warehouse Attendant at Taylor Summerville Battery. He was a retired U.S. Marine Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict with twenty years of service. He was a member of V.F.W. Post in Enon, Ohio, American Legion Post #526, AM Vets Post #148, and FOE Aerie #2641.

He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Stephen Farrell of Dayton, Thelma and Gene Webb of Fairborn, two brothers and sister-in-law, Marlin Tom Haws of Peebles, and Jesse and Virginia Haws of Nevada.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
