Audrey Purtee Thomas

Audrey Purtee Thomas, 96 years of Peebles formerly of Locust Grove Community, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on November 27, 1912 the daughter of the late Samuel and Jennie Wittenmeyer Purtee.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Atlee Dutch Thomas, who passed away December 4, 1993 and one daughter; Barbara Raisbeck.
She is survived by her son Frank Thomas of Covington, Kentucky, daughters and sons-in-law Joyce and Andy Stang of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Judy Meader of Maderia, and Sue and Dan Fristoe of Peebles, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
