Barbara Ann Shelton Baker
January 5, 1942 — June 18, 2008
Barbara Ann Shelton Baker age 66 joined the Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born January 5th 1942 in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Douglas Baker; of thirty years, her five sons, Ronnie Dillow, James Dillow, Larry Throckmorton, Richard Throckmorton, and Brian Throckmorton, and her two beautiful daughters Betty Dillow and Kimberly Throckmorton; sixteen special grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Olin and Eva Shelton, one brother Ronnie Shelton and a half-sister Blanche Storer.
Barbara's favorite hobbies were shopping and dining out. She loved flowers, and listening to the rain as it fell on the tin roof. When the rain falls let us remember this very special woman that touched our hearts so deeply. I know you will always be looking over us Mom, from the window up above.
The family would also like to Thank Hospice of NW Ohio for their help and support with Barbara during these past few months.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
