Barbara J. Chapman, 74 years of Hillsboro, passed away Monday December 20, 2021.
Barbara was born on February 7, 1947 in Highland County, Ohio, the daughter of the late James R. Hurn and Sylvia M. (Coppler) Hurn.
Besides her parents she was also preceded by her husband Donald Chapman, sister, Shirley A. Hurn and stepdaughter, Brenda Self.
Barbara is survived by her son, James (Leslie) Purtee of Lynchburg, grandchild, Jordyn Purtee, stepdaughters, Mary (Kenneth) Carter and Ruth (Ed) Rehmert both of Greenville and stepsons, David (Gina) Chapman of Chillicothe, Ronnie (Tammy) Chapman of Chillicothe, Dan (Dawn) Chapman of Greenville, Rusty (Chris) Chapman of Powell and Charlie Chapman of Greenville.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday December 28, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hulitt Cemetery.
