Barbara Throckmorton Page, 68 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, November 24, 2002 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Scioto County, Ohio on November 23, 1934 to the late Richard and Mae Crabtree Throckmorton.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lula Kidder and Vivian Mosley.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church, she cooked at the Highland County Sheriff?s Department and was a grandma to many as she was a Day Care Provider in her home for many years.
On April 13, 1983 she was united in marriage to Clifford Page who survives. She is also survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Don Allen, Sandy Allen, Phyllis and James Bowen, Sheila and Raymond Whiting, Chrystal Smith, Donna and Herb Throckmorton all of Hillsboro, one son Ray Brown of Lucasville, Ohio; six brothers Herb Throckmorton of Hillsboro, Gary Throckmorton of Greenfield, Ed Throckmorton of Hillsboro, Don Throckmorton of Lucasville, Tom Throckmorton of Leesburg, Dave Throckmorton of Lucasville; one sister Imogene Crabtree of Lucasville; 25 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church. Dr. Dan Lamb will officiate with burial following in the Rockwell Cemetery near Lucasville, Ohio.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro or at the church Wednesday 1 hour prior to services.
Family suggests memorials to the Highland District Hospital, 1275 North High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
