Barbara Ann Pierce

Barbara A. Pierce, 82 years of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. Barbara was born October 25, 1939 in Corbin, KY., the daughter of the late William Wilder and Ollie Evelyn (Surgenor) Hickey. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Barbara was a waitress for 45 years with Frisch's Big Boy where she worked at the Downtown Cincinnati on 4th Street and the Hillsboro Frisch's Big Boy restaurants. Barbara made friends with her many customers and co-workers. Barbara is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Joe Baker of Aiken, S.C. and Sherry and Steve Ratliff of Felicity, OH; dear friend, Jack Carpenter of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Nicholas Jackson, Neil Bunting, Jeremy Lovett, Joshua Lovett, Jordan Lovett, Jeffrey Williamson; several great grandchildren, one brother, Leonard Hickey, two sisters, Leanah Dehner and Patricia Toadvine; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. According to Barbara's wishes, there will be a family viewing. There will no services or visitation held. Family suggests memorials to United Way.
