Barbara Ann Shelton, 74 years of Leesburg, passed away on Friday August 19, 2016.
She was born in Highland County on March 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Garrison) Spruance. Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Ronald Shelton on March 6, 2005.
Barbara attended the Good News Gathering Church, was a member of F.O.E. Aerie #1161 Ladies Auxiliary. Barb and Ron owned HFC Janitorial Services in Hillsboro for over 20 years and later Barb was a Greeter at Hillsboro Walmart.
Barbara is survived by her two sons, Mark (Dee) Shelton of Leesburg and Joseph Shelton of Leesburg, daughter, Michelle (Mary LeVan) Adkins of South Vienna, daughter-in-law, Rebecca Willey of Leesburg, two brothers, Jim (Diana) Spruance of Hillsboro and Duane Spruance of Hillsboro, sister, Dianna (Rollin) Tomlin of Wilmington, ten grandchildren: Luke Shelton, Michael Shelton, Reid (Cheyanne Clifton & daughter Lyric) Adkins, Ryan Adkins, Jericah (Jacob Morgan) Shelton, Kia (Seth) Michael, Jade Shelton, Brittany (Keith) Barnett, Alex LeVan & Aaron LeVan and four great grandchildren, Dean Barnett, Bennett Michael, Kenton Michael & Ripley Adkins and special friend Vickie Reffitt.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday August 26, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Chaplin David Wirth officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday August 25, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
