Basil L. Lansing Jr., 42 years of Peebles, passed away on Saturday, October 24,2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center.
He was born on June 9,1973 in Hillsboro, Ohio, the son of Basil L. Lansing, Sr. and Marie (Carter) Lansing of Peebles.
Basil worked as a logger for Knauff Brothers Logging as well as Rob Bray logging.
Besides his Parents, Basil is survived by his sons, Basil L. Lansing III, of Peebles, Ohio and Trace M. Lansing, of Peebles, Ohio ;one daughter, Meagon Powers Lansing of Bainbridge, Ohio; brothers Paul F. (Shannon) Lansing of Peebles , and Everett R, (Misty) Lansing of Peebles; three nieces Ashley, Courtney, and Tiffany Lansing and one great-niece Emberly Lansing as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00A.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring, Ohio with Jeff May officiating. Burial will be at the Whiteoak Cemetery in Pike County.
Friends may call at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday October 28, 2015 from 4:00-8:00P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
