Beatrice Margene Runyon Castle, 79 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on October 9, 1928 the daughter of the late George A. and Bessie L. Haines Runyon.
She was a member of the Samantha Baptist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond George Runyon, Charles D. Runyon, and Robert Runyon, and three sisters, Gertrude Walker, Betty Hanenkrat, and Frances Hawk.
She is survived by her son, George A. Shelton of Macon, Georgia, step sons, Floyd A. Castle of Grove Town, Georgia, Edward John Castle, Jr. of Texas, one sister, Sarah Tener of Hillsboro, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Alice Henson and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Wiley Perkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dodsonville Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 till 2:00
P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
