Ben Honig, 81 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in New York, New York on May 27, 1930 the son of the late Max and Anna Einhorn Honig.
Ben was a member of the Retired Postal Workers.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bessie McCane Honig of Peebles, two sons; Jack Kerell of Texas and Rob Honig of Dayton, two daughters; Wanda Cromer of Fayetteville and Martha La Barbra of New York, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Jacktown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
