Bernice A. Newman, 88 years of Peebles, died Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 3, 1919 the daughter of the late Bert and Elva Paul Weaver.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bart Newman, who passed away in 1970.
She is survived by one son, Tim Newman of Peebles, two step sons, John Marlene Newman of Peebles, Dennis Cheryl Newman of West Union, two step daughters, Alice Dennis Hoop of West Union, Sue Terry Newman of Peebles, three brothers, Harrison Weaver of Florida, Ralph Weaver of Zanesville, Bert Weaver of Dayton, four sisters, Ester Rose of Cleveland, Betty Zecher of Dayton, Florence Lowery of Dayton, Susan Hollencamp of Dayton, and special friend, Goldie Parsons.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Ellerton Cemetery in Germantown, Ohio with Doug Tallman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ellerton Cemetery.
