Bernice R. Walker, 93 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Clinton County on December 10, 1911 the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Malcom Wilson.
She was a member of the New Market Baptist Church, 1929 graduate of McClain High School and a 1933 graduate of Middletown Hospital School of Nursing.
On November 27, 1933 she was united in marriage to Ervin P. Walker who passed away on June 11, 1980, one son Ronald Walker and one sister Gertrude Murphy.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Eddie Barrera of Hillsboro,
Three grandchildren, Richard L. Susan Barrera, Donald E. DeborahBarrera, KayDale Roades, five great grandchildren, Scott Barrera, Kristi Dickens, Amanda Couser, Alissa Satterfield, Adam Roades, three great great grandchildren, McKenzie Satterfield,
Bobby Satterfield and Jessie Satterfield.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home with Harold Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the New Market Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
