Bertha Sears, 82 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on March 15, 1926 the daughter of the late Fred and Freda Wallace Miller.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Sears, who passed away in 1975.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Ray and Robin Miller of Peebles, Jimmy and Linda Miller of Peebles, Dave and Cathy Dotson of Sardinia, Charles and Judy Dotson of Seaman, and Wayne Dotson of Peebles, daughters and sons-law Judy Begley of Peebles, Becky and Reggie Kelley of Cincinnati, and Amanda and Jody Gaffin of Peebles, brothers Buck Miller of Peebles, Ronnie Miller of Blue Creek, and Jr Crothers of West Union, sisters Faye Miller of Peebles, Pearl Vincent of Peebles, and Marie Garrett of Mt. Orab, fifteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
