Bertha Geneva Thompson, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the Batavia Nursing and Convalescence Inn.
She was born at Otway, Ohio on January 22, 1918 the daughter of Lee and Stella Smalley Workman.
She had worked twelve years at the Senior Companion Program.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Sammy S. Thompson.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William L. and Barbara Thompson of Mt. Orab, Philip P. and Lana Thompson of Lynchburg, Michael P. and Carole Thompson of Lynchburg, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery near Peebles.
Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. till 9:45 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
