Bessie G. Gill, 92 years of Winchester, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Orangeburg, Kentucky on October 25, 1915 the daughter of the late Washington and Clara Jones Padgett.
She was a longtime member of the Winchester United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James W. Gill, five brothers, and four sisters.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Marvin and Daisy Gill of Winchester, daughter and son-in-law Carol and Carl Copas of Seaman, brother Morris Padgett of Lewisburg, Kentucky, sister Madelyn Hook of Maysville, Kentucky, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, six step great grand kids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Reverend John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
