Betty Mae Carey, 83 years of New Vienna, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 21, 1921 the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Carrie M. Hamilton Kidder.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Carey, who passed away in July 1990.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Fender of Hillsboro, sister, Dora Glaze of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Michael Trudi Fender of Knightstown, Indiana, Linda David George of Xenia, Jeff Barbara Fender of Hillsboro, and eight great grandchildren, Madeline, Elizabeth, and Cameron Fender, Jacob, Zachary, and Lauren George, and Audrey and Hannah Fender.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
