Betty Jean Caudill, 89 years of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022.
Betty was born March 18, 1933, in Rogue River, Jackson County, Oregon, the daughter of the late Alvin and Sadie (Casebolt) Tackett. Beside her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Caudill, her daughter, Betty Furst, son, Earl Rodger Bellamy, one great granddaughter, Kimberly Sears, one brother, Alvin Tackett, three sisters, Carmella Newman Bush, Barbara Whittaker and Marie Reynolds.
Betty is survived by three grandsons, Stephen (Patty) Sears of Amelia, Keith (Cynthia) Sears of Hillsboro, Dennis Sears of Lynchburg; ten great grandchildren, Alexis Sears, Sydney Sears, Audrey Jones, Andrew Jones, Kasey (Randy) Frost, Ron Sears, Jaiden Sears, Luke Sears, Angel Sears and Timothy Sears; two great great Kaliyah and Aiclynn Frost; one brother, Virgil Tackett of Mowrystown, OH.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Betty gave her life for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would sacrifice her last dollar for any of her family if they needed it. Her door was always open to all to anyone who needed it especially if you brought a watermelon.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Hamer Township Cemetery in Danville. No visitation will be observed.
