Betty J. Cook, 85 years of Peebles, died Monday, February 18, 2008 at Adams County Manor.
She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 14, 1922 the daughter of the late Israel and Carrie Moore Buell.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Cook, who passed away in 1994, son Stanley Cook, sister Clara Cook, and sister Sara Buell.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth Cook and Jim Cook, daughters and sons-in-law Mary Cole, Patricia and Roger Martin, and Shelley and Rick Puckett, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Mary Cook.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Adams County Manor Activity Fund.
