Betty J. Davis, 70 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Bluefield, Virginia on April 16, 1936 the daughter of the late Okey and Gertie Jewell Fletcher.
She was a member of the Union Church of Christ.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Davis, who passed away on August 1, 1996, and her sister, Peggy Fletcher.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Sherry Davis of Hillsboro, Jim and April Davis of Hillsboro, daughter and son-in-law, Ladonna and Marty Burchett of Hillsboro, five grandchildren, Brandy Jeff Waller, Shelby Burchett, Mason Burchett, Jordan and Taylor Davis, and two step grandchildren, Chelsey Countryman and Jackie Decker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Derek Stump officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
