Betty K. Hanenkrat

Betty Kathrine Hanenkrat, 81 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, March 11, 2004 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on October 3, 1922 the daughter of the late George A. and Bessie L. Haines Runyon.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hanenkrat, who passed away on March 13, 1978, four grandchildren, Carrie Boldman, Cindy Boldman, Jeri Lynn Boldman, Kelley K. Boldman, two sisters, Gertrude Walker, Frances Houk, and three brothers, Robert Runyon, Charles Pee Wee Runyon, and George Raymond Runyon.

She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Bailey of Lyles, Tennessee, daughters and son-in-law, Ramona De-La-Cruz of Oklahoma, Donna J. and Mason Osborne of Hillsboro, H. Judy Bailey Missildine of Hillsboro, step son, Jeff Pam Hanenkrat of Leesburg, step daughters, Sherry L. George Hixson of Hillsboro, Shelly Bryan McComas of Hillsboro, sisters, Sarah Tener of Hillsboro, Margene Bea Castle of Hillsboro, eighteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, six step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, and four step great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Nathan Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
