Betty Jane Hickey, 74 years of Seaman, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at her residence.
She was born in St. Bernard, Ohio on August 7, 1933 the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Herrmann Ross.
She was a longtime member of the West Union Bible Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eldon Hickey, who passed away April 2, 2003, brother Richard Ross, and sister-in-law Mickey Ross.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Floyd and Sue Hickey, Lloyd and Christine Hickey, and Eldon and Kimberly Hickey, Jr. all of Seaman, daughters and sons-in-law Charlene and Jim Hull of Seaman, Darlene and Jim Tadlock of Winchester, and Judy and Tom Cross of Winchester, brothers and sister-in-law Walter Ross of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, John and Barbara Ross of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, and Charles Ross of Owensville, Ohio, sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the West Union Bible Baptist Church with Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
