Betty Brooke Lindsay, 79 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on December 12, 1927 the daughter of the late Walter and Lena Gordley Ward.
She was a member of the Louden Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star Lodge #396 in Peebles. She worked for Equifax in Cincinnati.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lindsay, who passed away in January 1995, brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Agnes Ward, and brother, Donnie Ward.
She is survived by her sons, Dan Huffman of Grove City, Steve Huffman of Grove City, Bobby Brooke of Tampa, Florida, daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Kennie Cooper of Rarden, step son, Sam Piccolo of Florida, step daughters, Vicki Lindsay of Massachusetts, Lisa Snover, brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Joyce Ward of Hillsboro, sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Dick Bracht of Wilmington, ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
