Betty Lee Moore, 62 years, of Hillsboro passed away at her residence on Thursday October 6, 2016.
She was born in Hillsboro on October 12, 1953 the daughter of the late Paul & Bonnie (Johnson) Rhoads. Besides her parents she is preceded in death her son Robert Moore, Jr., brother Paul Rhodes, one niece Tonya Lightner and one nephew Danny Lightner Jr.
Betty attended the Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ and worked for Robert Shaw, Highland District Hospital, Candle Lite and Heartland.
Betty is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Moore of Hillsboro, whom she married on March 12, 1976; as well as two sons DJ (Nicole) Moore of Hillsboro and Tim Moore of Blanchester; five daughters Stacy (Mark) Paul of Leesburg, Mary (Nathan) Smith of Leesburg, Tammy Moore of Hillsboro, Lisa (Brian) Waters of Michigan, and Kathy Moore of Indiana; four brothers Bobby (Diane) Rhoads of Georgia, Jackie (Brenda) Rhoads of Belfast, Jo Rhoads of Seaman, and Ronnie Rhoads of Hillsboro; three sisters Pauline Edwards of Hillsboro, Maryann (Paul) Mitchell of Portsmouth, and Joyce (Danny) Lightner of Seaman; fifteen grandchildren Anthony Paul, Zackary Paul, Ashlyn Moore, Austin Moore, Clayton Moore, Cody Jones, Savanna Jones, Eric Finner, Autumn Oppy, Devon Moore, Wesley Moore, Nathaniel Moore, Nicole Moore, Brooke Collect, and Jacob Collect; as well as several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00PM on Monday October 10, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Friends and Family may call from 4:00 PM until the time of service on October 10, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
