Betty J. Satterfield, 79 years of Seaman, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Clermont Mercy Hospital.
She was born in Fallsburg, Kentucky on September 23, 1929 the daughter of the late Freelin and Dixie York Moore.
Betty was a member of the Seaman United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #548.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Satterfield, who passed away on January 12, 1981.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Phil and Rosalie Satterfield of Bainbridge, sister Hazel Presley of Ashley, Indiana, four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Eastern Star services to take place at 12:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made to Seaman United Methodist Church, 63 Broadway Street Seaman, Ohio 45679.
