Betty Joyce Smith, 74 years of Hillsboro, Ohio, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born December 23, 1928 at Lesage, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Sidney and Urna Clary Blake.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Ralph E. Henderson in 1965 and her 2nd husband Henry O?Dell Smith in 1998, three brothers and seven sisters.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Hattie and Doug Lovedahl of Hillsboro, Ohio, Brenda Waugh of Scottsdale, Arizona, Marsha and Gary Sharp of Chesapeake, Ohio, Kelly Henderson of College Station, Texas; two brothers Eustace Blake of Ona, West Virginia and Robert H. Blake of Lesage, West Virginia; 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Betty attended the Rainsboro Church of Christ, member of the Highland County Senior Citizens and was a care giver for Skilled Nursing II.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Mike Free will officiate with burial following in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
