Betty A. Southers, 81 years old of Hillsboro, died Friday, September 12, 2003 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born February 17, 1922 in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Bettie Virginia Wray Skeen. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Lloyd and Herbert Southers; two sisters, Martha Smith and Thelma Maski.
Betty worked several years for the Highland County Animal Shelter.
She is survived by a niece and husband, Hazel and James Mettler of Bainbridge, Ohio.
At Betty?s request, there is no visitation or services scheduled. Burial will be in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
